Massive Development and Refurbishment Plans for Piccadilly Place

Titan Ceilings, a Horbury Group company has been assigned the responsibility of working on the ceilings of Four Piccadilly Place. Horbury Group of companies has also been given the contract to work on the ground floor.

Titan Ceilings, one of the nine companies included in the Horbury Group of companies was awarded the contract worth £370,000 to make suspended ceilings and bulkheads for Four Piccadilly Place by Carillion PLC. The building, once complete, will provide 110,000 square feet of Grade A office space.

Titan Ceilings had earlier done similar work worth £650,000 at Three Piccadilly Place which had a much larger area of 190,000 square feet of Grade A office space.

These two, combined with Five and Six Piccadilly Place, will offer Grade A premium office space of total 300,000 square feet.

In addition to the above three Piccadilly Place addresses, the office refurbishment and development plan also includes One Piccadilly Place in the northern area of Piccadilly Place which will have a 285-room luxury hotel and Two Piccadilly Place which will have another 55,000 square feet of Grade A office facilities.

Further 117 posh residential flats are scheduled to be built at Seven Piccadilly Place.

Trevor Wragg, the Managing Director of the Horbury Group of companies stated that the and business development plan of Piccadilly area is worth around £1.2 billion and is intended to be over by 2010. Piccadilly Place is the centre for transportation for Manchester. These development projects will develop the area such that it can be used for further benefit of everyone.
