Brochures are a great way to advertise your business or service. The higher quality the brochure, the more expensive they will cost. The more flyers you purchase the better the deal. Now, how do you get your brochures to last longer? Extending the life of your brochures will allow your customers to keep the brochures around longer, and it will allow you to get more exposure. Here are some great tips to extend the life of your brochures.
• Protective Coating – Moisture is the worst element to paper. To protect your brochures from moisture and dirt you can print your brochures on special materials that can resist water and dirt. Brochure printing with a special coating makes the paper less permeable. Water and dirt will slide off the brochure without damage. Your brochures will then be less likely to deteriorate and will last longer than normal. The finished product will have a nice glossy design that will also add class and style to your brochures.
• Strength Another great way to extend the life is by printing brochures on thicker stock of paper. This will add life to your brochure by protecting them from physical damage such as; tears, folds, and cuts. Thicker paper will not lose any quality in the printing process. Regular paper can be easily destroyed to external factors avoid this with card stock paper and it will be an investment worth the money.
When buying in bulk and printing on thicker paper or finishing with gloss you are able to keep your brochures around for future use. This will also allow your customers to hang on to your brochure until the time is right and they are ready to use it.
