Not only will they have loads of fun stacking on the multicolored icings and candy decorations, they will have a blast sampling one another’s innovations! You might just start a new custom. Add even more cheer to the occasion season with joyous cakes. What would Christmas Eve be without biscuits and milk for Santa? Step it up this December 24th with a couple of delicacies for Santa’s crew like “No Bake” Elf Ball Bites, Reindeer Treats, Christmas Caramel Corn, and Gingerbread Santa Biscuits to make for a happy, happy Christmas Eve!
A holiday dessert fete invites Christmas cupcakes and cookies! Choose three to 5 of your crew’s favorites– ask invitees to help out by lending a lot or 2 of their treasured cookies. Tykes and kids-at-heart will love embellishing their own. Be sure to have a place set up with lots of frosting and sugarcoats to pep up simple gingerbread boys and girls and other holiday-shaped sugar biscuits and cakes. It is conventional to send guests home with a tiny novelty to give thanks them for their fellowship. In keeping with the solace of this occasion, consider a food gift in a cozy packet. Fill cellophane bags with biscuits and cupcakes and slip them inside mittens. Put boutique bottles of flavored oils or vinegars in small Christmas stockings. Wrap up dried fruits and nuts and put them in a holiday mug!
For parties, put the cake stands and platters on a coffee table, dining table or buffet table. Costume the arena with a few pretty candles or by dispersing dried cranberries or holly berry leaves across the tablecloth below the cake stands. If you are having your home baked treasures to someone else, or are making them as a present, wrap them up just like a gift. Local craft stores sell exquisite pastry and dessert packages that are ideal. Also, check sweet boxes, which make for a exquisite display – they are so gorgeous your recipient will feel bad opening them!
