Is There A Radical Gay Fringe And If So, Why Do You Suppose That Is?

August 31, 2008 on 7:01 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

Some believe there is a radical gay fringe element like the eco-terrorists? Is there? Hard to say, because any such group would want to remain secret wouldn’t they? But if there is why would there be such a group anyway? Why would a group be radical like that?

I think the fringe exists because they got tired of being called names and harassed so they form little grouping to protect themselves, like gangs, troops or packs and they are fighting back at society and using basic seek and destroy targeting and profiling like LRRPs in the field. I think it is a defense mechanism, turned offence with young energy to burn. That is my assumption of course. Societies always have had to deal with their young men, perhaps why humans and civilizations have wars, just for the hell of it.

I think all of America is being very tired of being called homophobic or afraid of their feelings or some other BS. I know I am tired of it. But when Americans do not understand why they are saying this, they may get upset and call these folks a name or something. Thus further exacerbating the problem and creating a bigger future problem. People disrespected generally seek some sort of revenge and if you consider the amount of disrespect aimed at the gay community you can understand why a small group might form a group to take law into their own hands. So consider this in 2006.

Get a Cheap HTC TyTN II

August 30, 2008 on 10:04 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

HTC really put their hearts into the design of the HTC TyTN II producing a real design classic. For the money the HTC TyTN II is quite well featured. HTC have done a good job on the user interface of the HTC TyTN II making this phone easy to use.

The HTC TyTN II comes equipped with bluetooth, making it extremely convenient to integrate with devices, such as hands free sets or even a music system. Getting on to the display the handset is fitted with a 2.8 inch screen, which, if you look at the alternatives for this price is a nice big display. The display type on this phone is a TFT touchscreen, 65K colors. The TyTN II supports 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 , . A 3.15 MP, 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus, video; secondary VGA videocall camera is integrated into the TyTN II camera. For mobile Internet users as WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (PocketIE), browser is included. The battery that comes with the TyTN II is a Standard battery, Li-Po 1350 mAh,. Regarding the all important battery life the HTC TyTN II has 400 hours reserve time and 6:00 talk time. Polyphonic (72 channels), MP3 ring-tones are enabled on the HTC TyTN II along with a vibrating tone . The HTC TyTN II is only available in Silver,. The TyTN II weighs 190 g, which is OK for a handset of this type. Compared to competing handsets the HTC TyTN II is pretty compact, fitting nicely into the pocket. Additional features of the HTC TyTN II include:

  • Video call
  • Media Player 10
  • Voice memo
  • Built-in handsfree
  • Video/audio album
  • Pocket Office(Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Built-in GPS receiver
  • A-GPS function
  • Java MIDP 2.0
  • Regrettably for HTC the TyTN II has some stiff competition from rival manufacturers products meaning it is fairly easy to find some real bargains on this mobile phone.

Cellular phones have become so ubiquitous that large numbers of users do not want to invest time to shop around for a bargain. As it is so easy pick up a mobile handset in a high street shop, or even a grocery store at discounted prices then often it is not worth spending additional time looking for a bargain. The information these users are unaware of almost all ofthe really cheap deals are largely offered on the Internet, where great large savings are achievable without leaving your desk. Through the use of a phone comparison site is not only the most convenient but is also the most cost effective way to buy a mobile phone.

Gaming Laptops Turning into Consumer Electronics

    August 25, 2008 on 7:58 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

It was not very long ago when only a few manufacturers made laptops for gaming. Despite the fact they were not great sellers they did have large margins. The most sought after notebooks were the ones that were too expensive to speculate purchasing. I bet you would say they were the best laptop computers available, at least power wise. As badly as I desired one I was not able to afford to buy laptop computers like them. Well known manufacturers have recently released their own gaming laptops so its all changing as I write this.

In my view they can get off by selling them at a higher price if they desired. Currently the profit margins on the majority of notebooks are so narrow that this constitutes as a great opportunity to roll back the gross margins. Why would anybody buy laptop computers like this? Well big companies have the marketing spend to educate them on that. This is an enormous threat to littler boutique resellers. Now consumers will have increased choice it makes it troublesome for the small manufacturers. Consumers just feel a lot more at ease making a major purchase from an established name.

The notebooks are surprisingly good indeed. This is one opportunity the local retailers should employ to their advantage. I guess consumers that buy these kinds of notebooks prefer to be able to configure their laptop. Buyers of this type are generally very educated concerning the technology at hand, and hence are able to make like for like evaluations. If deciding between speed and looks, these people typically choose the former.

As a possible buyer myself this is indeed all a good change for me. Improved technology will be increasingly accessible in the future for the majority of purchasers as it will act to force margins down further. Its difficult to say what could occur to be honest as the industry is a fast moving one. Mobile technology is constantly advancing and the new units should always be high priced on launch. Seeing as the big brand manufacturers have already begun releasing gaming laptop computers, I suppose we will have to be patient to see what develops.

    Paramus, New Jersey: Retailing Paradise!

    August 21, 2008 on 3:19 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

Situated in the heart of Bergen County, New Jersey at the crossroads of state highways 4 and 17 is the town of Paramus, home to some 30,000 residents, but also home to one of the largest retail meccas in the world. Let’s take a look at Paramus and what has made this town such a popular destination for shoppers.

Convenience - Nearly one million people live in Bergen County, but draw a 75 mile radius with Paramus at the center of it and the figure mushrooms to over 20 million people! Yes, all of northern and central New Jersey, New York City, southern New York State and parts of Long Island and Connecticut fall within this circle. That makes for a lot of potential shoppers in such a compact area.

Malls - Four big malls plus several free standing retail establishments are located within the town. The largest is the Garden State Plaza, a beautifully enclosed mall with over two million square feet of retail space. The Garden State Plaza features 280 establishments including Nordstrom, JC Penney, Lord and Taylor, Macy’s, and Nieman Marcus. Other nearby malls include the Bergen Mall,, Paramus Park, and the Fashion Center. Smaller malls include The Mall at IV and Thirty Five Plaza plus free standing retail establishments like home furnishing giant, IKEA.

Tax Free - In New Jersey, there is no tax assessed on clothing purchases. For nearby New Yorkers, this is an attractive reason why a trip to one of Paramus’ many retail destinations is so desirable. New Yorkers pay 8.25% tax on clothing, so the savings can be significant especially when purchasing back to school clothing, a uniform, a fur coat, etc. New Jersey’s sales tax rate is 6% for most other items.

Closed on Sundays - Perhaps the biggest reason why Paramus is such a success is that most retail establishments must remain closed on Sundays. Blue laws are still in effect and the trade off that residents have made over the years was to allow all the stores in, but with one caveat: your business must be done in six days.

Paramus isn’t for everyone, indeed Saturday traffic can be stifling and the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas can bring regular and constant traffic jams. Still, zip code 07652 - Paramus, New Jersey - is the second highest performing retail district in the nation, wedged between two popular New York City zips: 10022 and 10001. Visit the U.S. Census Bureau’s site at www.census.gov for their Economic Census Report by Zip Code report for more information.

Before falling truly and madly in love ask each other 10 pertinent questions…they could be the blu

    August 17, 2008 on 9:19 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

You’ve just met someone and instantly you’ve clicked - the chemistry unbelievable - you want to spend the rest of your life with this person! Life never looked better! But wait a minute…what do you really know and understand about this gorgeous, wonderful human being you want to spend the rest of the life with?

Falling in love…aaahh what a wonderful experience the first flushes of love are. The heart starts pounding, our temperature rises, and the butterflies begin fluttering whenever the girl/boy of our dreams enters the room. The world looks so…well…rosy. Not only that, life suddenly becomes much more exciting. From my own experiences the heady excitement of first love really did my head in - for some reason commonsense flew out the window…well in the short term anyway. I started accepting things that I normally wouldn’t, pulled away from my old friends, and started to lose a part of myself to accommodate the other person.

I followed my heart when on reflection I could’ve saved myself quite a bit of stress had I known a few more things about sharing my life with someone. I never really asked the important questions such as who would be the major breadwinner, compared our values or really planned for the future. I simply followed my heart and went with the flow in blissful abandonment.

What do you really know about your future life long mate? Do you know what their favourite piece of music, colour, outfit, book, holiday destination is?

What about their likes and dislikes? Do you know what their level of patience and understanding is, are they aware of yours? Are they flexible or inflexible thinkers and do you recognise whether you are or not?

I’ve listed 10 basic points to ask each other before you reach love’s point of no return. You could treat this as a date, and also as an opportunity to really get to know each other on a deeper level. Above all be tactfully truthful, treat what the other has to say with respect, and never assume the other knows what you’re thinking.

If this sounds a bit clinical, consider it as a blueprint of your future lives together. Ever heard the comments “I wish I’d known what I was getting myself into.” Or “I wish I knew then, what I know now.” Or “I just can’t understand her/him.”

    Here are the points:

    1. Ask each other what your values are on a scale of 1 - 10.

    2. Ask what you really do not value on scale of 1 - 10.

    3. Do you both want children? If only one wants children, is there an alternative and is this issue negotiable?

    4. Who will be the breadwinner after the baby is born? It’s not necessarily dad anymore. Are you both okay with who will be the major breadwinner?

    5. Assuming you both were employed prior to children, ask yourselves once you become a parent how long will it be before you return to paid employment. I make this point because from experience that whilst the majority of couples I’ve met are ok with the traditional scenario of the wife remaining at home with the children, some men have resented this.

    6. What do you expect from each other - in sickness and in health? Ask each other what you expect from them; in return let your partner know what you will personally bring into the relationship and what you will continue to bring to the relationship.

    7. What will you forgive/not forgive of each other’s behaviours, for example, infidelity or lying?

    8. Do you have a hobby you could both share? List all the really wonderful things you could do together.

    9. Will there be occasions when you want to do things alone? For example, boys/girls night outs, fishing trip with the boys/girls etc. Is this acceptable to you?

    10. Is there anything that annoys you about your partner already? Are you willing to accept annoyances?

Secretly thinking that your partner will come around to your way of thinking sooner or later could possibly be setting yourself up for disappointment. There’s also the risk of blame and anger if you’re unable to change something you assumed you could.

Accept that nothing in life is perfect - life could be said to be is perfectly imperfect.

Teleconferences: 15 Ways to Promote ePrograms Of Any Kind

    August 17, 2008 on 8:47 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

It is true that this article is directly more towards
teleclasses, yet, the ten tips also included hold true for
any type of electronic Learning (eLearning) marketing and
    promotion.

Teleconferences, also known as teleclasses or teleseminars
depending on the presentation format, are the second hottest
marketing delivery technique for 2004. This delivery format
satisfies the yearn to learn and opens an exchange to
    unbelievable global portions.

Previously called distance learning, the teleclass format
actually began in the mid-1990s through higher learning
institutions. Now, without leaving your office or easy
chair, you can put on a headset, lean back and learn. No
parking challenges, gas usage, or travel time required.

Technology is exploding in this part of the communication
industry. In 2003 this market tripled their service
features for leaders, use and availability in on the
incline, and the attendance limitations of 30 a few years
ago now expands to 150. And in 2004, the market continues
to show that it will double even 2003s number.

Teleconference phone numbers are still limited to
availability in only certain states, like Florida and
Nevada. The pressure for other states to add
teleconferencing services at these reasonable rates is not
there yet. The bell is toiling louder every year.

Currently, you can purchase a personal-use 24/7 line in the
range of $600 a year. Alternatively, you can rent a line by
the hour from $10 up or even share a line.

You can find no cost teleconference lines, like
http://www.mrconference.com. I found these services less
than desirable. Many times, you get disconnect if you don’t
talk every 10 minutes or you are blocked from entering the
call if their lines are full.

No, teleconferencing will not take the place of “being
there”. Yet, some teleconference leaders can just about
bring you physically into feeling that same experience.
If you have never experience a teleconference, I recommend
that you do, but don’t just try one. The greatest benefit
to learning by phone is that you listening skills will reach
    new heights quickly.

    1. If you produce your own e-newsletter or printed
newsletter, you can add a teleconferencing announcement
    section.

    2. Contact other e-newsletter or printed newsletter editors
and ask to have your teleconference announced in their
issues. You can swap for the space (your ad for their ad in
your e-newsletter), barter for a space in your session,
offer an affiliate option, purchase the space or pay per
click. You want to advertise with your focus target.

    3. You can also run pay-per-click search engine ads. The
Google AdWords program is a great place to start. If you
purchase an ad analyzer software (average $100) or a service
(average $19.95/month) you will save time and make less
mistakes. It will also save you hours of analyzing your
own. Look for the ads that you pay more than a nickel each.

    4. Place notices all over your web site — especially your
main page. Remember, this is a passive method (meaning that
you still need to get visitors to the site before they can
    read it).

    5. Write and distribute Internet articles on the same
subject. Unable to write, hire a ghostwriter. Allow three
months for this process to begin working. You will also want
to write and distribute at least three articles a month.
Don’t ignore this marketing avenue. This method is number
five on the top promotional methods for 2004.

If you are writing marketing articles a great media-posting
site is: http://www.ideamarketers.com. Each site has it’s
own guidelines and speciality topics. To find other media-
distribution sites, visit http://www.google.com and search
on “submit article” and “[your topic]“. Use your bio or
resource paragraph, usually limited to five or less 60-
character lines, to entice readers about your teleconference
    offer.

    6. Distribute your information globally. Whether using
Internet articles, advertising or any of the other methods
mentioned in item 2 and item 3 above. Find places in other
English-speaking countries like the United Kingdom, Canada,
    Australia, and New Zealand.

    7. Announce your teleconference calls on other people’s
teleconferences. You can slip it in with a question, when
you are responding to a “what do you do” segment, or ask the
leader before hand for an opening as a complimentary service
to theirs, for bartering, or even a commission.

    8. Add a promotional paragraph to all your outgoing e-mail
    signatures.

    9. Do you below to any discussion lists or boards that allow
you to post your teleconferences. Some do and some don’t.
If you are not sure, ask the group’s moderator. Off a
special price for members on the list.

    10. Write a press release for each teleconference. Become a
member of PR Web http://www.prweb.com/ — membership is
free. I found this site to be the best for a Google pickup.

    11. Begin a list of all your local newspapers that offer
free community event announcements. Find out what their
deadline are and submission requirements. Create what they
need and send it to them about a week or two before their
    deadline.

As you get acquainted with working with your local
newspapers, you can then begin to start expanding to other
cities and locations. Choose a city and then do the same.
When done, choose another city. Start a binder with all the
information and set up your Internet browser with categories
and your e-mail software with a separate “Community
newspaper” section to keep yourself organized.

Eventually you will want to delegate this over to a Virtual
    Assistant.

    12. Write a telephone answering script and change your voice
mail frequently to mention your teleconferences.

    13. Use fre*e offers to attract people to come and find out
additional information about your teleconferences. You can
use an ebook, ecourse, special report or even a white paper.
A transcript of another teleconference, if the same target
    market, would also work well.

    14. List your class in teleclass directories. Some of these
listing posting sites require that you complete “their”
teleclass-leading course. A big downfall in time and
    expense. These include:
    http://www.seminarannouncer.com
    http://www.teleclass4u.com
    http://www.teleclasslive.com
    http://www.teleclass.com
    http://www.thefeelgoodplace.com/freetele.htm
http://www.Yahoogroups.com has over 30 places to post your
    listing (depends on your topic).

    15. If you give speaking engagements or attend seminars,
give out flyers on your teleconference program. Works well
in networking groups too. Take the flyers to the libraries,
    senior and civic centers..

The Power of a Clear Intention

    August 15, 2008 on 11:32 am | In Uncategorized | Comments Off

Humans are born into this world with their work already in them. Imagine there is
something like DNA with you that has the message of your purpose in this world
encoded inside of it. There are several scientific theories about how and where a
person’s purpose is actually encoded; however, suffice it to say that in whatever
form a person wishes to imagine, the purpose of his life is in fact encoded into his
personality. A child can sense–though she may not know exactly how to decode
it–her purpose from early in life.

The great luminaries of human society clearly understand what the creative forces
put them here to contribute. The mediocre members of human society, on the other
hand, never decipher the purpose code. Of course, purpose is more than a job or a
career; purpose is more than some specific role like father or mother. For many
people, however, the most difficult piece of their purpose to decipher is the one
    called career.

So, maybe you want to start a business from home; maybe you want to harness
internet traffic to highlight some cause in which you believe; whatever your hope, it
starts with aligning yourself with your inner purpose. Once you have aligned–even
slightly more than now–with your purpose you will begin to see amazing
coincidences start to happen that appear to be designed with your well-being in
    mind. Perhaps some internet advertising
company will arrive to show you how to make money doing the type of
vocation that is to you a vacation; perhaps an investor will fall into your lap for a
business idea upon which you have been working. The bottom line is that once you
begin to align yourself with your divine purpose, you will find the generosity of the
universe becomes open to you. This is because the universe that made you did so
with the intention of increasing well-being.

The difficulty of decoding purpose is only enhanced for people who have talents of a
creative nature. A friend of the author has been struggling for years to decide what
his career should be. He has tried starting a business and failed. He has tried
working up the ladder of a corporation and failed. It appears that he has tried
everything he can think of except for the obvious: creative enterprise. He knows his
talents are in creative enterprise–specifically acting–but he continuously doubts
that his ability is strong enough to sustain a paying career in the field he loves. The
sad result of his self-doubt is that he has wasted his money, credit, and dignity on
one poor fit after another. He believes he is a failure when in actuality he is merely
being taught by life the one difficult fact of success: follow your talent.

Joseph Campbell–the popular academic–used say “follow your bliss,” but director
George Lucas revised that advice to “follow your talent” in an interview with Charlie Rose last
spring (2005). He told the story of his haphazard fall into moviemaking. He didn’t
really know what he was getting into, but after he started doing it, he found he was
as good as the best and better than most. The result of his choice to follow his
talent has made him one of the richest directors in Hollywood history and has made
our country and world richer for his having been here. Isn’t that the kind of legacy
everyone is after? Of course, not everyone is meant to be a superstar director like
George Lucas, but why can’t everyone be the very best that is in them to be? The
answer of course is that they can if they choose to follow their talent.

So, you are one of the people who has been cursed–as you may see it now–with
artistic talents, but with few talents for more practical roads. What do you do next?
For certain, do not attempt to build the city of your life around the oasis of someone
else’s purpose because if you do, that luxuriant oasis will ultimately reveal itself to
be nothing more than a mirage.

The first affirmative step you can take is to embrace your purpose and set a clear
intention to fulfill it. While it can’t be proven that every person who has ever set a
clear intention got what they were after, it can be shown–empirically mind you–
that no real success has been wrought from uncertain intentions. While George
Lucas may not have known that film was where his talent lay in the beginning, once
he learned the talent was there, he pursued it from then on by choice, not by
accident. The list of luminaries who prove this rule is indefinably long.

Any namable success can be shown to have followed this first rule: clear intention.
Any exception you think you can name ends up, upon further investigation, to be a
fluke rather than a success. Flukes are not happy or content people, successes–in
the area of their success at least–are happy and content. So it is with you. The
nature of happiness is that all of the doors lying before the path look like labrynths,
mirrors, and gargoyles, but once happiness has boldly been committed to, those
foul looking centurions reveal themselves to be friends and allies.
